OWNER/ATTORNEY
Beau Powell is the owner and founder of Powell Title Company as well as Beau Powell P.A. He attended Mississippi College School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2011. He began his legal career with the State Attorney's Office, First Judicial Circuit, in Milton, Florida in 2011, where he practiced until founding Beau Powell, P.A., Attorney at Law in 2014. His areas of practice include: criminal defense, trial litigation, family law, and personal injury. Beau is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Justice Association, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Young Lawyers Division.

Lawrence C. Schill
ATTORNEY
Lawrence C. Schill has practiced law in the western panhandle of Florida for over 30 years. From 1993 to 2011, he was a business and real estate attorney both in private practice and as in-house counsel for a real estate development and restaurant holding company.
During that period, he represented buyers, sellers, and financial institutions in all phases of the real estate development process. He has closed hundreds of real estate loans for the sale and purchase of individual lots, single family homes, raw commercial land, and existing commercial real estate ventures. During a six-year period, the loan funds exceeded $1,000,000,000.00. Also, during that period, he prepared the regulatory, sales, and closing documentation for the development and sale of over 500 condominium units totaling over $200,000,000 in sales.
Lawrence also has extensive experience in real estate related litigation. He represented buyers, sellers, borrowers, and lenders in a wide variety of areas, including cases involving title insurance claims, endangered species, zoning, contract enforcement, and boundary line disputes. Also, as part of the management team, he helped guide the real estate development company through the 2008 Great Recession.
Lawrence pursues real estate loan closings with a problem-solving approach. Whether it’s a home refinance, home equity loan or multi-million dollar commercial loan, his goal is to complete the transaction with the least amount of stress to the various parties in anticipation of a successful outcome for each of those parties.
Lawrence is a Pensacola native and helped raise three children here. He attended the University of West Florida before moving to Atlanta to complete his undergraduate degree and obtain his law degree from Georgia State University.

Alexis L. Layberger
LAW CLERK/ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Alexis was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. In 2018 received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus in Pre-Law, where she received an award for her Capstone research project focused on the relationship between political funding for mental health and crime rates, and a minor, with honors, in Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi.
In 2022, Alexis received her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.
During law school, Alexis received awards for Dean’s List as well as the Women’s Student Bar Association. During law school, she interned at the at the Office of the Public Defender and at Beau Powell, P.A.
